Ojha receives UPAA Award in Lucknow, Guest of Honor at Gandhi Award Ceremony in Delhi Kathmandu. Saroj Ojha, Presenter and Director of Sachetana Programme, NTV News and Executive Editor of Rajyadainik.com has been honored in India. He was honored in the 30th edition of ‘UPAA Award 2023’ by Lucknow-based Uttar Pradesh Artist Academy and as the guest of honor in Mahatma Gandhi Excellence Award 2023 by Delhi-based Face Group. The organizers said that he was honored for his contribution in the field of communication. Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak was the chief guest at UPAA Awards 2023. Ojha said that Deputy Chief Minister Pathak expressed happiness on honoring people of India along with citizen of other countries serving in the fields of art, journalism, social campaigns and other fields. In the previous edition of the award, actors and filmmakers including Anil Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, Abbas Mastan, Sameer Anjan, Farooq Sheikh, Bhagyashree, Rahul Roy and cricketer Piyush Chawla have been honored with the ‘UPAA Award’. Similarly, Ojha was honored as the guest of honor at the recently held Mahatma Gandhi Excellence Award 2023 in New Delhi, the capital of India. Ojha, who was invited as a special guest in the award ceremony organized by Face Group, was given the honor by Rajendra Singh Sagar,Deputy Commissioner of Delhi Police, who was the chief guest of the program. On that occasion, journalist Ojha presented intertwined flags of Nepal and India to Dr. Mushtaq Ansari, the chairman of Face Group, the organization organizing the event. Ojha said that the Chief Guest Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajendra singh praised the style of gifting the flags of Nepal and India mentioning it as innovative and impressive one. According to the organizers, Ojha has been honored for making significant contributions in the field of communication by being active in the production of television programs including print and online media for the past two decades. Ojha has been involved in the production and broadcasting of Bal Awaaz, Business Info, Namaste Nepal, Pravasi Ko Sandesh, Adarsh Parivar, the first cooking reality show in Nepal, College Chef Icon and the comedy teleserial ‘Kura Matra Bho’, apart from Sachetana. He has been working on documentaries as well as script writing and direction. Ojha, who has also acted as a judge in film, music and beauty contests, has also been working as a communication expert in various associations and companies. Ojha is also the general secretary of Everest Press Club, an associate organization of the Federation of Nepalese Journalists. Ojha, who has worked as an editor in various magazines and online, has also worked as an editor of a bulletin published by Lalitpur Metropolitan and an editor of a book Winning Psychology in Sports. Ojha, who has been associated with Nepal Television for two decades, was honored by Nepal Television on the occasion of its 36th anniversary. He has also received the ‘Dadasaheb Phalke Award’ in Mumbai, India, the Human Rights Award 2023 in Lucknow, the ‘UNPKFC Humanitarian Award’ from the United Nations Peacekeepers Federal Council headquartered in Thailand in 2021 and the ‘MSL Excellence Award’ in Egypt in 2019. Ojha, born in Vyas 8 Tanahun, is currently living with his mother, wife and a daughter in Lalitpur district .
